Is Paroxetine (Paxil, Seroxat) Banned in the U.K.?

I asked for Paxil again a year ago but the doctor said it was banned or discontinued due to people having very bad withdrawals from it.

Paxil was the only antidepressant I tried that didn't immediately affect my tinnitus or make me feel weird.

No it's not banned. I can still see it on the NHS website.

My NP had me QUIT Paxil (I was on the highest does and for over a year) and I got severely ill and developed tinnitus. She told me I could go straight to Wellbutrin 300 MG, no big deal. I hate that I trusted her.
