I have a damn sore on my outer ear.
I didn’t do anything for it and it’s gotten worse.

My doctor was concerned and said I have to take this antibiotic.

      Is it ok?

My tinnitus has been so shit this last year. I couldn’t stand for it to get worse but I have no choice now.

Hi Karl, I have taken Keflex a few times over the years and it hasn't adversely affected my T. I was like you when I had to go on a course and was concerned but all turned out OK.

Be encouraged - I'm sure you will be fine.

I just finished a course of the highest dose of cephalexin they give I believe. It was 4x/day for 10 days, can’t remember the dose in mg but that was just last week or so that I finished it and it hasn’t caused me any harm.
My doctor said cephalexin is based off amoxicillin and so he thought it would be similarly safe to the ears.
