I was using a table saw, circular saw and drills yesterday. I had ear plugs and ear muffs on as well. I could barely hear my tinnitus while working. I could hear the tools however even with all the ear protection.
As soon as I took off the ear protection the tinnitus came back fairly loud. Not sure if this is hyperacusis or just normal for tinnitus or what. Probably just was focused on working so didn't notice the tinnitus much.
