I've Had Tinnitus Since I Was Born, but Recently I've Been Going Through a Weird, New Type

So, as the title says, I've had tinnitus since I was born. I also didn't know that tinnitus was abnormal until I was 12, when I went to the doctor, who put me through a CT scan and found I had a cholesteatoma on my right ear which was leading to a 75 percent loss of hearing. I've had a few surgeries recently as the cyst keeps growing, and after my last surgery, I've been having this new, weird form of tinnitus.

Before, it'd all be high pitched ringing that was bearable.

However now, I have this very low pitched droning that comes on if I the top of my head, bite my teeth together, tap with my left foot, or tap my heart. It also comes on by itself sometimes, but if I tap on the aforementioned areas, it goes away. It used to go away and come back after a long time, but now it comes back within 1 second of tapping. I need help.

I'll visit a doctor soon, but is there any advice or other people with the same condition as mine?
