Jardiance (Empagliflozin) — Any Concerns for Hearing or Tinnitus?

My doctor prescribed Jardiance for treatment of diabetes. I'm concerned if this drug could be ototoxic. I haven't found any information regarding this.

If you can't find any information on a drug being ototoxic, then it very likely is not ototoxic.

I've got a tinnitus friend who's been on Jardiance for several years with no issues.

Did your doctor prescribe 25 mg per day? Would it be possible for you to improve your diet so you don't need to take the drug? Low-card is a good choice.
