Hi, I've had this humming in my ears for around eight years. I'm not sure what started it, but I worked for years in environments with load noise. For me, it always seems I have a loud fan going in the background and have trouble hearing lower frequencies.
To watch TV at a decent sound level, I bought a cheapie hearing device that raises the volume on everything. It works so so. There doesn't seem to be much support in my area for my kind of hearing loss, so here I am..hoping something here will help.
