L-Citrulline — Impact on Tinnitus?

Does anyone know if L-Citrulline can help tinnitus or make it worse?

I am worried it might not help, and in fact make things worse, as it is kinda similar to the MoA of the PDE-5 inhibitor class (increase NO and through that vasodilation) which are implicated in a number of ear problems.

I mean dose makes the poison and L-Citrulline is much more mild, but I wouldn't want to take any supplements that make it worse, however it seems a lot of supplements for tinnitus are aimed at increasing blood flow, and maybe that can help with healing (if any).

I’ve found this article but I’m not actually sure of the takeaway, are they saying that increased NO leads to increased tinnitus? That’s what I gather from the body but the conclusion suggests otherwise.
