Laser Will (Perhaps) See Cochlear Cilia

EPFL (A world renowned Swiss engineering school) and Harvard medical school have teamed to develop a novel nondestructive means of seeing the cilia. Not a lot of info in the press release.

A very interesting development. I hope they are able to pull this off as this could be the start of new era of understanding for Tinnitus and hearing loss.

This tech is also from Harvard. I would think that they are related after reading the following:

"To address these challenges, Betzig and colleagues combined two technologies: lattice light sheet microscopy, which Betzig developed in the early 2010s, and adaptive optics, a technique borrowed from astronomy."

But I could be mistaken.

If this is true then they should be able to use this to see inside of all kinds of other stuff.
