Is it a good sign that my left ear with the fluid and ETD with negative pressure is making super mild popping sounds when I swallow? I almost feel like it’s just sucking up more fluid into my ear when it pops cause my ear feels wet now...

But for a good few weeks it wouldn’t pop at all! So this is a change. Is it a positive change?

Trying to find hope to avoid pressure equalization tubes from being put into my ears with a myringotomy...

For what it's worth, I would view that as a positive change. I interpret that as if there is more air than fluid in the middle ear cavity. If that's the case, then it's good. Have you talked to your doctor about this change? How long have you had this problem?
