I'll ask this question to those of you with hearing problems, who are recording music. While tracking, do you wear headphones? Vocals and other acoustic instruments are obviously pretty impractical to record via any other method. Do you wear earplugs under the headphones to make sure you're at a safe volume, or do you just turn the headphones way down in the first place? In either case, do you find a way to be safe and still hear the music well enough to get a good take? I'd love to hear any solutions or advice

I think I should also say that any suggestions to altogether stop recording and playing/horror stories aren't welcome
