Mastoid Infection at 2 Years Old

I thought everyone had a ringing in their ears. I never knew any different. Came here to read up on stuff. And what I can do.

Doctors thought I should be deaf in my one ear because of the mastoid infection at 2years. Family story, as I almost died.

A doctor must have seen damage a few years ago when I had asn ear infection, cause he asked if I could hear. Yes I said. He said ok. And that was that.

I'm getting older now so my right ear is hearing less ..

There are a few of us here thought everyone had ringing in their ears. Having for your entire life does not make it any easier to cope with, especially when it "spikes".

Came here to read up on stuff. And what I can do.

I would suggest searching out posts created by @Michael Leigh. He has a number of articles that contain a wealth of information on tinnitus, potential treatments, and coping mechanisms.
