I thought I was going to habituate to my severe tinnitus and its fluctuations but having a moderate day seems more difficult now. I think I lost some hearing or something like that. Now I never have more than one good day in a row. Maybe it´s my pre-holidays stress. But I don´t know...

Some days ago I was experiencing pain in my ears with screaming ringing. I wonder if I had made a mistake.

Weird thing: days before that my eye floaters worsened x 3. I have a lot of new friends flying inside my eyes.

I hope I can reach 2 or 3 "good days" in a row during my holiday period :(

You're not alone. I rarely have more than one good day at a time. It's to the point where if I have 2 or 3 good days in a row I think I'm cured! That said, I look forward to them, they're like little vacations from tinnitus. Enjoy your holiday. Hopefully the distraction will help keep your tinnitus at bay.

Hi @Don Tinny. Really sorry things are rolling that way at that side. I developed some serious eye floaters at the end of August 2019 and hopefully I'll have a vitrectomy done by the end of this year. I spent this last weekend at a friend's house in the coast. I found I have way more floaters while walking by the beach. Mine started after using antibiotic eye drops due to an eye infection. My eye pressure went too high and floaters popped out like crazy. There's a safe solution for them: vitrectomy. Believe me, despite what you can find in lots of forums.

Besides that my tinnitus is really depressing this days. I find it difficult to keep a positive mindset towards it.

Hope you feel better soon. Cuidate mucho.

Hi Buzz. My floaters got worse after having dry eyes a few days. I used ear drops for hidratation. Maybe it was coincidence, who knows. I watched some vitrectomy videos, but now I am just focusing on my tinnitus.

I whish you a good recovery after surgery.

How frequently do you have dry eyes? Perhaps you could have Dry Eye Syndrome.
If your Meibomian glands are just clogged and haven't stopped secreting meibum then there are some things you can do to help.

1. Use preservative free eye drops. In particular I would recommend these.

Refresh Optive Mega-3 Lubricant Eye Drops With Flaxseed Oil

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0792R213H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_P1mkEb1A49DJN

2. Use a heated rice mask to melt the dried meibum and help your glands produce more. I usually use a wash rag between the mask and my eyes because the masks can get pretty hot.

3. You may have blepharitis from allergies etc. Use an ice pack to decrease the inflammation

4. Wash your eyelids with fragrance free baby soap or a specialty cleaner made for the purpose. This helps get the glands open and if you have dandruff or other debris in your eyelashes it will help get it off which helps prevent reclogging.

Not always but I should change my old lens. And I took Accutane and Finasteride years ago, drugs that probably gave me dry eyes. Anyway..my dad and one of my sisters have eye floaters. I think there is a genetic predisposition.

I will try the lubricant drops mate.
