My Tinnitus Sometimes Has a Resemblance to Human Voice Inflection?

      Tinnitus Since:
      9/2010
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Genetic predisposition/ compounded acoustic trauma/Antibioti
      To put it lightly, I’m so terribly afraid I’m going insane...

      My tinnitus sometimes, under the multitones of buzzing and ringing, I think I hear a sound that resembles a muffled voice. I never hear any distinct words and I’m unsure if it’s humming at a pitch I associate with human voices.

      Has anyone ever experienced something similar? Or should I be worried I’m finally losing my mind to this noise...?

      This developed abruptly three weeks ago after a terrible spike.

      Could be a type of musical ear syndrome possibly. I’m sorry you are suffering so badly. I pray it gets better for you.
