New High Pitched Sound in My Left (Bad) Ear. Just When I Thought My Tinnitus Was Healing.

I was diagnosed with ETD, but the nasal spray I was using was really helping me out - the aural fullness was almost gone, and the fluttering also. The low pitched tinnitus I had is completely gone.

But I woke up today with a high pitch electrical EEE sound.....
I don't know what to think any more.

Don't take it too hard. Mine is all over the place and I've had it for about 7 months. I'll have a few to several good days and then there's days like today, when I just get by. I keep tract of my good days and bad days to try to establish a pattern or identify a trigger but I'm not having any luck.

Did your aural fullness return? Did you get dizzy?

 

None of that came back, i just got palatal myoclonus, which completely reversed any progress I made with the tinnitus.

 

What nose spray do you use? I have allergies and notice my tinnitus gets louder if I use steroid nasal sprays. It goes away after stopping the nose spray.

 

I used Nasonex for a month and the low-pitched tinnitus gradually disappeared.
