      Hi All,

I am a 52 yo French man living in Paris and experiencing a (resilient!) tinnitus since April 2012, that appeared after an idiopathic deafness for 3 days (I have recovered at 100% plus... the tinnitus (

I join on this US forum as French medicine is not that experienced (nor successful) in tinnitus treatment and I think it is valuable to open up on to an enlarged information panel (other European countries and the US).

My first question is: does anyone reports experience (whatever it is) with Zoloft 50 mg AD (sertraline) in improving or not his/her tinnitus after several weeks? My psy has adviced about it and I just started with it a few days ago...

Many thanks in advance for your answers.

      Many greets from Paris,

      Frenchy

PS: guys, please have mercy on my English, probably not the US regular one ;o)

    2. I was on 50mg Zoloft for 10 Days, had to quit it because i was not able to stand the early side effects. Nausea, dizziness, increased anxiety. My T was increased during that first 10 Days, probably due to anxiety thou. Could take 4-6 weeks to get full effect from it. No way i could take that for such a long time. Remeron works far better for me.

      Hi Nick,

Thanks for your feedback. It has been now 9 days I take it without side effects nor... benefits for the moment, probably too early to feel any improvement.

      Best regards
