New Onset Morse Code–Like Tinnitus Alongside Low-Frequency Hum

For a long time, I have had low-frequency tinnitus that sounds like a truck engine in the distance. However, just this morning a new kind of tinnitus developed alongside it, something I have never experienced before. It is a faint Morse code–like beep. It disappears for about five minutes, then comes back again with the same beeps.

It is driving me crazy, and that is the last thing I need as I also suffer from anxiety and panic disorder.

Ah, that really sucks. I have not had this myself, but others have. I have heard of it going away for many people, so do not expect it to be permanent.

I see you have had low-frequency tinnitus for many years. Are you used to it? I just developed it, and I am finding it really intrusive and difficult to handle.

The strange thing is that the Morse code tinnitus comes and goes. I first noticed it a couple of mornings ago, and then it went away until it briefly returned yesterday evening. I just experienced it again a few minutes ago.

I have had low-frequency tinnitus for many years, but I have gotten used to it. Even though I still hear it, it does not bother me anymore.
