      Hello everyone,

      I stumbled across this forum and to my surprise, I find that I joined in 2013!!!!

      In brief I have 50% deafness in both ears and as well as severe (relentless) tinnitus.

      I wear hearing aids (Widex) which allow me to have one to one conversations; without them I can hardly hear anything due to the tinnitus more than the deafness.

      Anyway, I won't rabbit on.

      I hope I can participate here.

      Wishing all here well

      JaiSea (JC are my real-life initials)

      T has gotten worse since I was here(2013), however, last night for the first time in a few years, I actually had a few hours rest(sleep?) and the T is not so aggressive as it has been.
      This happens once in every 3 months or so.
      So I am hoping this may stay.
      I am here because I am beginning to feel I can communicate again.

      Thanks for the welcome.

      @JaiSea
      I know if I don't get good sleep I'm in for a rough T day.
      I'm not sure what a good nite sleep does to T but it sure does help.
      Maybe you can ask your doctor for something to help with sleep?

      Over the years I have tried several medications for sleep and they all didn't help. Some made things worse.
      I suppose I have accepted the T as a part of my life and am trying to have a satisfactory existence with it.
      I am presently working on getting my mind gets more focused(which is difficult) and breaking the mental fragmentation and frustration of not being able to sleep.
