Hey guys these past 3 days I have had my tinnitus a little bit stronger and unstable.

My tinnitus so far fluctuates, but it changes during sleep.

These past 3 days it changes from moment to moment.

Lots of "fleeting tinnitus", weird hissing etc.

Also I have a mild pain in my "T Ear"...

I haven't eaten MSG, sugar or salt.

The only thing I suspect is that I have had lots and lots of mucus.
I feel congested, headaches, etc.

Maybe it's the beginning of a cold? And that's why tinnitus is acting up?

I feel you might have answered your own question :) But ultimately it (sadly) tends to be wait and see. And if the symptoms persist, pain becomes worse, or you just otherwise feel unwell, should see a doctor (at least I want to try and err on the side of caution).

Have you had colds after your February tinnitus onset? If so, do these current symptoms remind you of those back then?

Markku!
thank you so much for your reply,
its funny because before my t onset, i was having colds pretty often.
and now since february i just havent catch a cold or the flu,
the only symptom i get to experience is "feeling congested" and then it fully resolves after 2 days.
and my tinnitus usually doesnt seem to change when it happens.

until now :O
i think its and early cold/flu
and maybe its causing a spike D: hopefully

@Mario martz ,
Look in to taking a allergy medication as could be a allergy causing all the mucous if have no other symptoms unless it develops into a cold....lots of love glynis
