New to the Group, Sadly Not New to Tinnitus...

Not sure if I'm posting this correctly, but just wanted to say thanks for saving me $37. I came across a site that offered a "miracle" cure... found on this forum that it was a ripoff and nothing in the book is beyond that which is offered on this forum - for free. I've been suffering tinnitus for at least 20 years... can't remember when it actually started and was noticable, but it has grown worse over the years... Praying for some solution someday.

Hi, Dave W, and welcome!

I think I can safely say we're all glad you decided not to buy that book! (Was it "Tinnitus Miracle"?) There is a lot of great advice here on Tinnitus Talk, and I believe that if a new treatment or breakthrough occurs, we'll hear about it here first.

I've had tinnitus for many years, too, and mine got worse after taking a blood pressure drug. There are so many causes, and we may never know what really caused our tinnitus, but what matters now is how we learn to cope with it.

We have several doctor here on Tinnitus Talk who will answer your questions about tinnitus, plus a lot of other folks who can give you the benefit of their experience with what has worked best for them.
