Hello,my name is Michael, and Tinnitus has suddenly become a part of my life. I've only had it for 4 days, which I know from reading is hardly a long time, hardly ANY time at all. But to suddenly start experiencing this can be quite jarring! I went to be Saturday night, and suddenly it started. I thought maybe it could be due to ear wax blockage, because I felt (and still feel) pressure in my ear,but after cleaning out my ear with Hydrogen Peroxide,it actually made the sound louder,so I won't do that again.

I have the low "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" sound for mine, and it's been constant for these 4 days now. I have an appointment with an ENT doctor that I actually made due to a chronic sinus issue, but now this came along as well. Guess I should be "glad" it happened before my appointment instead of after. Then I wonder if the Tinnitus could be due to the sinus issues?

There are moments when it seems "lower", but I don't know if that's actually what's happened,or if I just stopped noticing it as much? I'm hoping for some improvement over time, but the internet seems to be all over the place as to whether this could be permanent or not, could get better or worse, can be treated or not. I actually thought maybe it was gone this morning, but as the day went on I heard it more and more.

I'm not at the point of going crazy yet - only 4 days - but it can be quite annoying. I actually don't have any hearing issues with it,I can still hear fine, just this constant buzzing in the background.

Have you seen the ent yet? How did it go?
