      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Zoloft Withdrawal
Normal volume music in my car and sound on my laptop sounds loud. I had ear pain as well for a couple days but has since subsided. I am not sensitive to everyday sounds, however.

      Am I developing hyperacusis?

It could just be some earwax, you should go to an ENT to have it checked out

My ears are pretty clear of wax. I have tinnitus, which began after I had been on Zoloft for 5 years at full dose, and stopped taking it for a few months (in 2016), but went back on a full dose again, added Remeron. A few months later tinnitus started in response to coffee and cigarettes, and it kept adding new sounds whenever I used caffeine, alcohol, or cigarettes again. I think there is serotonin dysfunction and that continuing to take both drugs could be further damaging my ears, but cannot be sure if going off either will improve my situation or worsen it, on the whole.
