Thanks Markku. I viewed this live earlier today. I can't say I am a fan of twitter chats. When you have a topic such as tinnitus, 140 character twitter answers are not very detailed or informative. I would have rather they had a live webcast or some other venue that allowed for better answers and more questions.

gotta love twitter interviews. it provided nonsufferers more awareness than actual answers for the sufferers :) which is alright I guess. the more exposure the better

While I'm not a huge fan of twitter interviews either, I have to say that I am very happy with the answers that they provided. This interview reinforced my belief that major breakthroughs are just around the corner. When top researchers in the field are "hopeful" and "optimistic," something great must be on the way. Until then, stay strong! (y)

I don't know what Twitter is, but I would of asked why is it that tinnitus professionals insist that the loudness of tinnitus does not matter.

With all due respect to Dr. Gans' work, was disappointed that she seemed to see this as little more than an opportunity to plug her mindfulness program. Maybe I am being harsh...

And I agree that Twitter chats are not the best venue for discussions about complicated medical issues. But glad you got your question in there, Markku.
