Hi all,

I'm not sure if I have tinnitus, but I've been experiencing a hissing sound that has lasted for about a month. My ears feel full, and I also have a sensation like I'm walking on a trampoline.

I was under the care of an ear, nose, and throat clinic for quite a while but was discharged in 2022. I've had both a brain scan and an ear scan, and everything came back normal.

I visited the doctor last week. They examined my ears and said everything looked clear.

I'm feeling very stressed about this, and today I've had to lie down.

I have the hissing sound as well. You could try Magnesium Oxide. For me, it has helped my other muscles adjust and restrain the vibrations that cause the middle ear bones to make noise.

Did you try the other forms of Magnesium as well or just the Magnesium Oxide?

Maybe a long time ago. Oxide works.

It's very strange, but fiber from apples, carrots, and similar foods also helps. So my theory is that the reason Magnesium works is because of the gut (pulls water into the gut). My condition becomes incredibly severe when my intestines are backed up. Cleaning things out seems to help my body coordinate in a way that restrains the effect of the TVP convulsions on the Eustachian tube and, in turn, the middle ear.

I had this generated to help me understand why the gut might be the key:
How old are you?
40.

I also experience the fullness, which feels like fluid is present to quiet down the middle ear bones.

And yes, the scans usually don't show anything. You're not crazy.

That's really interesting! The reason I asked is because I have the same issue. Digesting food also causes flare-ups for me.
