Tympanometry Test Causing Ear Fullness and Increased Anxiety

I see some users on this site who, after having a tympanometry exam (a test that uses air pressure and sound to evaluate middle ear function), experienced worsened tinnitus or discomfort in their ears.

I had this test done recently, and now I have a sensation of ear fullness.

Can anyone share more recent experiences with hearing tests that included a tympanometry exam? I am feeling a bit anxious now. If I had known this could be a side effect, I would never have agreed to do that part of the test.
