Just joined.
I remember lying in bed many years ago thinking what is that awful sound? Why is it so loud? Can't you hear that high pitched pinging? You can't?? What the ?#$@ !!
The next night it got louder and it was near deafening...it won't stop. I can't sleep. So painful...it won't stop. Cry myself to sleep...a man in my 20's crying myself to sleep because of a sound that doesn't exist.
Later on..side effects...increased ability to hear small noises...from across the room. No it's not a super power...its flipping annoying !!
Ahh the rain...I love to go driving on a rainy day...I just love rainy days. Can I leave the fan on?? Please? Oh no, all the little sounds in the car bother me. Please don't clap near me...its so loud.
These summarize my feelings over the years. I know I am not alone...now.
