I really hate reporting this fact because my personal case involved the specialist doing the root canal. But I voted yes.

This is not to deter anyone from needing the procedure. You must however make sure the specialist is well qualified and never never settle for anything less. If your gut is telling you something is not right you get up and leave.

You should always interview any specialists first.

Thank you Starthrower. Poll continues 50-50. I think the odds are quite high, probably finding a good specialist and letting know that we have T and ask for a more cautious procedure makes the difference, but still this shows that going to the dentist has its risk and we have to minimize the odds as max as possible!
