      Hello,

I have had tinnitus going on for 5 years. I have had many colds, etc. and am aware of the spikes that these infections can cause.

I am on day 6 of COVID-19 infection and my ears have been greatly affected this time. Both ears were plugged up until yesterday. When I blew my nose, my right ear squealed, like it wanted to open, but then I got the underwater echoing sensation and feeling in that ear. Since then, I can hear my pulse to a noise that sounds like an instrument.

The ear still is not fully open.

I am taking Sudafed and Flonase. I used a warm compress and saline to lightly blow my nose.

Has anyone else had this? Did it go away once the ear cleared? Is there anything else I should be trying? Steroids?
