      Hi -
my PT has been going on for just one week. I've seen a NP who saw no damage/inflammation or infection in my ear. In other words, the ear looked completely normal. However, I have a feeling of fullness in my ear, which seemed to be going away, but hasn't, and the PT comes and goes. The hb sound is very low volume, I can mostly just hear it when it's extremely quiet (night, early morning) and it is sometimes in competition with the louder sound of regular tinnitus. Any one with experience with something similar? I have had no testing yet, but the NP said we would if the hb continued. How long did you wait to get testing? Is MRI the first thing to try? Thanks,

Mine is low and quite. It is a woo woo sound not a thumping sound. I've had all the tests except for a cerebral amigo. All my testing found was a dilated mastoid emissary vein. I only hear mine in certain positions.
