Question on Ototoxicity

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Root Canal
      Does ototoxic drugs when taken over a period of time effect the overall hearing or is it certain frequencies or both. To me it makes more sense that it would effect overall hearing...Any thoughts

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Ear infection
      I wouldn't take them at all...There's a possibility that you can damage the other ear and get tinnitus in both ears, also could get worse in the one you already have tinnitus in.

      I hear @Danny Boy but its hard to avoid them all .....I've been taking omeperzol for years for Gerd and that too is ototoxic....damned if you do and damned if you don't
