The topic is perhaps more complex. But I want to know how it looks.

As Hyperacusis often has to do with reflexes from the stapedial muscle.
At least that is an important reason.

Are there anyone working on the electrical stimulation of the stupid muscle? The point is to manually replace the reflex of the muscle.
Does it make sense? Is it technically possible?

Another option could be a muscle prosthesis, a microphone that itself detects sounds of 70-90 dB and stiffens the sound conduction system in the ear.

My question is the same: is it technically possible? Is someone working on this hypothesis?

This makes a lot of sense as every other muscle in the body can be electrically stimulated by physical therapy or by many other techniques...
Same for the Tensor Tympanic Muscle...but they're only into cutting them how about repairing with electrical stimulation. I believe something else can be done...

I dont think it can be done nowadays. It is a tiny muscle (like milimeters) and in theory it is controlled by our brain.
