I thought I'd recreate what my tinnitus in my left ear sounds like (it's not a loud file but turn your volume down if you're worried). It's not quite this sharp but I wanted to recreate the sweeping volume and tone mostly. Usually it's softer but when it's most annoying it's more like this. I don't hear a lot about people with tinnitus from loud noise or somatic where it pulsates in volume like this. I can't say it matches my heart rate either.

After my long spike in June it settled down to a softer tone but I'd say this sweeping volume has been going on for at least a month now. I believe exercise and rest help it settle as well as good mood and keeping busy. I've said before that certain movements (the most profound being turning my head to the right fully) can intensify my tinnitus or stop some of the sweeping. I do have a lot of upper body muscle tension and when I do yoga I notice when blood rushes to my head it feels less prominent on the left side with my tinnitus ear, I wonder if blood flow is reduced there.

Any thoughts on this? Is the sweeping volume a good or bad sign? I sometimes think it would be easier to ignore it if it weren't for the sweeping. It's got that same annoyance like a bee or fly coming and going. I feel like physiotherapy is the way to go but I worry about it and wonder if this will improve if I keep stretching and exercise and all that.

Does it change with flashing, moving images on computer screens?

No, I'm at a computer a lot and it's the same as if I were in another room or outside.

Keep on stretching and exercising, it can help reduce or eliminate tinnitus for some people. It helps with blood circulations in the brain.
