Last evening and night I got this roaring sounds and my hearing in left ear was muffled or distorted. Quite scary. Also when I moved my head I got a chiming sound in the other ear.

      Anyone else experience similar?

It lasted a few hours but seems better this morning at moment.

Were you by any chance at a 6 nations match? You know the roar of 20 odd thousand people is truly deafening and can cause tinnitus!

If not, and it's gone today, well, that's great, but I'd go and get a hearing check. If you don't want to go the Nhs way, specsavers do hearing tests.

I wasn't at the match but glad Scotland won. Perhaps echoes of fans at Murray field roaring in my ears. Ha that made me smile. I guess if it happens today or again I should see someone. Little faith in GPs though. Changes in hearing are scary, more scary than the tinnitus itself.
