My T is buzzing along right now but I'm okay with it--very different for me--I used to panic if I so much as heard it through my IPod. I noticed all day that I would all of a sudden become aware of it--so maybe my brain is taking a break from monitoring. I didn't use my white noise all day--and I didn't get upset at all. :)

Anyway...my 2nd ENT said no abnormalities in my MRI--so I'm okay (I already knew as my GP looked up my results last week). It was amazing to see my brain in the pictures! He said that I seem so much better in just a month that he doesn't feel I should go for TRT or a masker right now--he says to wait six months because he thinks I'm already habituating. His words: "You are doing awesomely". I felt so good. This 2nd ENT is so compassionate and caring.

Then I saw my CBT therapist who says that I am taking back my life--making progress in my reaction to T and now feels I only need to come every other week.

Totally amazing day. I feel really good--T and all. :)

That's great news. And very cool to have a caring doctor.

Can I ask a stupid question? Why does one get MRIs or CTs?

I do not think overcoming tinnitus is a test of will.

In fact, sometimes a strong will can be a barrier.

On the other hand, I have known many people who have little or no willpower who have done great.

So I do not think that will is the key. I think that Strategy is the key.
