Should I Take Prednisolone for a Spike?

Hi,

I got a spike today and I want to know if i should take prednisolone for it, if so what dosage?

I got prescribed them for the first month at onset but I still have some lying around.

I would see if it settles on its own as you will get to know how your spikes come and go and your brain adapt to them and your reaction to them .
Steroids are ok but not used with out doctors recomendations
