      Cause of Tinnitus:
lots going on at the time
By moving my jaw, clenching my teeth and neck movements I can change my tinnitus.

When I am walking and bending it changes throughout the day.

Can you throw some light why this happens.

      I have no pain whatsoever.

      Thank you.

      Hi @Worker -

A number of people can identify somatic factors that impact their tinnitus. Various mechanisms have been postulated. There is a nice review article at: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2633109/.

Unfortunately, I am unaware of any cases of severe intrusive tinnitus wherein an appreciable degree of lasting improvement has been achieved by therapies directed specifically at these somatic factors.
