Yeah that is very unfair. But tinnitus has many possible causes. Even cleaning your ear can cause it. Its not always connected to hearing loss. Wish you all the best and all of my fellow sufferers:-(

It's strange that some people get it and some people don't even when they get damaged hair cells.
