This Clip Is Lowering My Tinnitus, Why?

What tinnitus sounds like

I just play it for a few seconds and the T subsides...lasts for a lil but it definitly has dropped off...was focused on right side and ear but now is on my left side and much lighter...

Can anybody explain this? My T is a week old but I think this clip is helping so much.

 

It's residual inhibition. Won't cure your tinnitus

 

I used to play the same thing just at different (higher) frequency just for this residual effect. The problem is that it ended up making my T worse for the remainder of the day. I learned to stop doing it.
