This Tinnitus is a Bummer!!!!

Hello All,
I have just been diagnosed with Tinnitus in the last 2 weeks, and I suspect I've had it for a long time, years maybe. But, I attributed it to my noisy apartment. I noticed the ringing a couple of years ago, but I finally went and had a hearing test, and they doctor told me that my Tinnitus was most likely caused by my hearing loss.

Well, being 61 years old, one would say that is to be expected. However, I am not one to just accept anything the traditional medical community says to me, because I've found too many times they do not have all the answers.

I've discovered in the last week that many more people have Tinnitus than I realized, so why isn't the medical community trying to do something about a cure?

Anyway, I'm anxious to hear what you all have to say.
