Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Flared Up After My SUV's Brakes Squaled

Hello,

Iwas driving my SUV today and I heard a squeal. I thought it was cars around me so I drove to the other side of the parking lot and it continued.

It was my brakes squealing. I heard it for about 20 seconds.

Can this damage my hearing more? My tinnitus and hyperacusis has flared up.

My guess is no. Temporary spike maybe but no damage.
