      Hi I'm Tom,

I have had tinnitus since October 2018 from scuba diving. It has got slightly louder from a rugby game a couple of months ago so it's clearly affected by loud noise too. I am passionate about traveling and want to trek Nepal either this year or next.

Do you think being elevated in the Himalayas will cause tinnitus to get worse? What about on a plane?

The plane I'd be nervous about a little. The mountains if anything, made my T better. Coming down and a good ear pop helped relieve some ear fullness.

      Hey Tom!

      No worries with the trekking!

Regarding the flight, you can find some ear plugs especially for the planes, during the take off and landing... You can find them on Pharmacies...

I used them several times... ;)

Make sure they are not 3M defective earplugs.

      Never heard that...

I recommand the brand "Quiès" for the plane earplugs...
