      Tinnitus Since:

When I go to sleep, I always have the fan blowing on my head. I love the soothing cool air, and it masks any external noises from around the house.

When I don't get enough sleep - I experience a low bass 70Hz sine-wave-esque tinnitus in my right ear. Could the night fan be the cause? The bass sound very momentarily goes away if I move my head, or hear another quiet sound (It's not masking it - the tinnitus bass sound is a very specific frequency, and as a musician, it's clear when that frequency is not audible).

The less sleep I get, the more it happens.
