      Hi All

I'm just curious to hear if anyone else's tinnitus is caused by a spontaneous otoacoustic emission (SOAE).

I never knew about this relationship until now.

I'm curious to find out how people describe the sound, whether the tinnitus is unilateral or bilateral, and whether anything helps tinnitus caused by SOAE.

      Cheers,
      Brett

Found this link. I think it is of recorded SOAEs. Apparently journal articles are saying aspirin reduces SOAEs, but apparently also produces another kind of high pitched tinnitus.
