      Tinnitus Since:
      06/2021
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      otosclerosis
I have mild hearing loss, otosclerosis, and tinnitus, all in my left ear. I experience a constant buzzing sound that sounds similar to a buzzing florescent light fixture. That tone never goes away. And I also experience a very high pitched tone that usually wavers/fluctuates and cuts in and out, and that tone sometimes goes away.

I noticed that sometimes if I pop my ears by holding my nostrils closed and blowing hard, that tone goes away for a while - does that give any indication of the cause of the tone?

@GregCA would probably be the best person to ask about this.
