I have this in my right ear.... I talked about it last month also.. I call it zaps.. but this is 1000% what I also got. Since I started to massage my neck and behind my ear... it became way less. Besides that mine I could hear through everything. For me this was more bothersome than my normal T even when it was not loud...but it is so random ...it drove me nuts... but like I said since I massage my neck/shoulder & head 3x a day it is almost completly gone...so I guess it is TMJ

I let you know if that improve this tinnitus!
