Yesterday I had only the high pitch ringing and hiss.

That evening I could hear another tone that keeps fluctuating, not as loud as the high pitch ring, more like a background noise. Any thoughts?

I also used to have only one sound, and now I often hear two sounds - the regular sound, and a much quieter version of the regular sound in the background.

Same here, had one hiss sound for 15 years, not loud, hardly noticed it. Now permanent spike with another frequency sound, much louder and more annoying, resembles an old alarm ring clock.
