I encountered some interesting writings. It's not in English so I had to translate them. My English is not very fluent so you'll have a hard time reading it. What do you think about these articles?

      Article 1:

If you’re reaction to noises is somewhat excessive, it’s not about your mood, it’s hyperacusis. People who have hyperacusis respond to sound what other’s find find whatsoever quite acutely. They are prone to stresses.

Hyperacusis is caused by the paralyzation of the inner muscle of the ear. The sound is not filtered in the ear; rather, it directly hits the auditory cells.

And the another cause of hyperacusis is the overgrown sensitive facility which gets more acute and keener to repeated sounds. (normally it should rather dumb your senses.)

These can all be explained to one word - Stimulus Deprivation. It gets its claim more when one’s environment is quiet. The quieter, the worse. For example, you get to hear the ticking of the clock in the quiet night.

People with hyperacusis even goes to extreme of regarding the sound of music as an unpleasant and disagreeable noises. This hype-sensitiveness of hearing leads them into anxiety disorder. Having a hyperacusis doesn’t mean that they’re hearing is good and healthy.

      Article 2:

We can’t possibly live hearing every sound we hear in our normal life. We’re not living in primitive age; we live in modern era and if one hears every sound this era makes one would finally go mad.

When we hear sounds, some stages takes place along it’s way of finally resulting in physical reaction. First, we (or rather our brain) analyse the sound which involves our emotional property. This happens in subconscious level.

Second, the received sound gets its attention and meaning, leading us to finally accept the sound consciously.

Now, in our subconscious level, we block out those sounds that are unnecessary or have no meanings whatsoever: these include the sound of refrigerator, the noises one’s computer makes, incandescent light, rains pattering in the window pane. These are our everyday sound and unless we pay attention to them, we can’t hear them.

Let us be clarified more. You are invited to your friend’s so you are dressed up nicely and head towards your friend’s house. You hear the rain pattering in the windowpane in the living room; that’s because we think it’s raining and we should definitely bring umbrella with us. We gave the sound of rain our attention and the special meaning that it well deserves.

As we chatter merrily with our friends, we can’t hear those rain pattering in the window again. That’s because it only gets its admission in our subconsciousness and we don’t feel the need to accept it in our conscious.

Now it’s time to go home and if it’s still raining, you can hear them as you’ll have to borrow your umbrella again. In reality, hyperacusis and tinnitus caused by or coexist with hearing impairment involves blocking sound (your tinnitus, maybe) getting into your conscious level.
But just think about this. What if a certain fear caused by hyperacusis or tinnitus or such an improper treatment only strengthens the process of getting attentions to sound and giving a meaning to it? It only worsens the condition, of course

Without the proper and precise diagnosis, and thinking the tinnitus has something to be attributed to stroke or cerebral hemorrhage and thus giving treatment to the patient that way only aggravates the condition.

Tinnitus and hyperacusis is not a disease and it curable. You get to cough and the temperature is rising when you get a cold. The cold IS a disease and tinnitus and hyperacusis are the symptoms that follows with it. Hearing impairments caused by old age or an acoustic trauma a is followed by hyperacusis and tinnitus. They are disease and symptoms.

The key to these symptoms is for the patient to understand where it all came from and what it all measn.

Then, what causes hyperacusis and tinnitus to come into the surface after the hearing

That’s because of the recompensation of the lost hearing: we hear less and therefore we focus our attention to the extreme. Add to that, the memories and awareness we have of the former sounds increases the activity of our brain in the subconscious level, resulting in the unableness to filter and block out the sounds.

I didn't translate the last sentence because it urges the reader to use hearing aid to get better of tinnitus.
