My left ear has pressure, it's spiked a little, but the most horrible thing is now all sound make a faint ringing noise like extreme reactive Tinnitus.
WHAT IS THIS, when I take the chips bag and move it around it makes my left ear ring, everything makes it ring, my own voice, the voice of my mom everything makes this little faint ringing sound.
Am I having some sort of an infection? or is it just a random spike, IM PRAYING IT GOES AWAY.
I can't handle this it's like I've gone slightly deaf, I'm scarred out of my mind right now.
I remember reading somewhere that when you get Tinnitus you get over time degeneration, is this what's happening right now?
      SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

I've been having random ear pressure in my left ear for a couple of days now once I wake up but it always goes away after I yawn a few times or something, is this a wax bildup or are my hearing cells dying?

I think it's just some pressure, I'm not sure but it seems to be less reactive and going down.

Can it really be nerve degeneration? or is it just some random pressure.
I'm really afraid of it getting really reactive and sensitive to sound.

This happened to me last night.Do not panic. This is a reagent tinnitus. I read somewhere that this could be a slight hyperacusis.

I no longer have the drum, and no longer have reactive ring, what I have now is well some sounds provoke a cricket sound.
It's no longer full, I think this may be a spike or something.
I'm afraid of an ear infection or degeneration, I already had some sound sensitivity which has gotten better.
I'm just afraid of reactive spike, I was just beginning to habituate to it greatly and not paying attention.
I hope this is just something random.
Also I don't think its tensor since I don't experience fluttering or anything like that.

Do yo have ear pain ? If not, this isn't an ear infection.

I think it was just a random spike of pressure.
I have no ear pain whatsoever, also no pressure anymore or sound sensitivity.
Just a little sound sensitivity maybe left, also I'm still scared like hell.
But it seems to have resolved rather quickly

I would suspect hyperacusis too; from my understanding H is relatively temporary but I would recommend talking to folks on the H forum.

Illja I have similar symptoms. I think the above posters are correct that it is mild H and TTS. Hopefully you guys are right that it is temporary.
