What Was Your Tinnitus Like in the First Few Months?

My t stated off screeching loud and after about 7 weeks I started to have a few better moments where the tone changed to something easier to take and lower volume. But now after 9 weeks the volume has gone up and the tone is a loud whistle sound that won't stop. How was your t at the beginning? Did it start loud and get lower, or just get louder?

It started out that it was so loud that I could not hear anybody talk and nothing could mask it. After almost 2 years now it is on a scale of 10 a 4 or 3 or something. For the last 7 months it did not botter me anymore, but since yesterday I got stressed about it again.....weird
