Sadly since there isn't much hyperacusis treatment available and nor are the treatments a guarenteed 100% success. Not to mention the condition is shrouded in mystery.

It got me thinking, that hyperacusis won't be treated directly more so unintentionally cured by some drug or treatment for some other ailment. What do you guys think?

I agree with you @Taylorslay. It is very unlikely that a cure or treatment for Hyperacusis will found in the form of a drug. Ususally (but not always) it is the auditory system that has become hypersensitive by sound - noise trauma. The way to correct this (treat it) is by densensitisation of the auditory system using sound therapy and this can be done in various ways. Medication can help with anxiety. Hyperacusis often accompanies tinnitus. These conditions take many months for a person to habituate sometimes 2 years or more.
