- Cause of Tinnitus
- Acoustic trauma? Stress? Both?
Hi all.
I have been trying a 10 kHz notched white sound track on YouTube the last two weeks. My tinnitus is around 10 kHz. I have been listening using headphones some hours every day at work, and iPhone speaker during the night, at low volumes. Haven't noticed any improvement (yet), however my tinnitus is somehow irritated by the white noise, and 'zings' on top of it, at 10 kHz. When I stop the track, the tinnitus goes down as well, and seems lower or softer for a short while.
I don't like the 'zinging', also worried I might do some harm. Is this normal? Should I continue?
